My name is Paris, and I am raising funds for my 25-year-old son as we face the biggest fight of his life.

Since he was 17, he has been battling interstitial lung disease. Through it all, he has remained bright, hardworking, creative, and deeply caring. He has inspired so many people with his resilience, his love for music, the arts, and technology, and the way he continues to think of others even while carrying so much himself.

He has always pushed through pain to show up for the people he loves, to create beautiful work, and to keep going with strength and heart. Now we have reached a point where he can no longer push any further, and he needs a transplant for a chance at healing and a future.

This fundraiser is to help us meet the transplant team’s financial requirement, along with the recovery and relocation costs that come with this next step. We will need to relocate away from home for his care, and I will be out of work for 6 to 12 months while helping him through recovery.

Your support will help ease that burden and give my son the opportunity to move forward with the surgery he urgently needs. Hi everyone,

I want to thank each of you who has donated, shared, or sent a kind message. We have raised $14,853 so far toward our $45,000 goal, and it is helping us get closer to the transplant team’s financial requirement.

My son is still waiting for the chance at surgery that he needs. We will have to relocate away from home for his care, and I will be out of work for 6 to 12 months so I can stay with him through recovery. Every gift helps cover that next step: the requirement, lodging, meals, and the months of recovery ahead.
